Here right now.
I went to a tiny eight seat coffee shop in Kyoto and met another woman named Isabella. We got to chatting as we were both there alone. She told me she was from Italy, and also lived in New York for a while. So I naturally asked “where are you now?”
She paused and then with a bit of a smirk said, “well, I’m here right now.”
It felt like a good reminder.
Wherever you are, be there. This moment. Here right now. It is the best place you can be.
